Award-Winning High School Senior Photo Session……. February 8, 2010

Hello Friends,

Last week was the first night to enter prints into the monthly competition for Seattle Professional Photographers (www.thinksppa.com). I had actually photographed this high school senior a couple of years ago, but  made a display piece for the studio. Well….. This portrait panel won second place in the ‘folio’ category.

This is just one example of how framing can add a different element to your prints. It is a great way to display several prints on your wall or office. Acclaimed Photography also offers 100% custom framing.

Two more awards…. July 4, 2008

At this month’s (July 2008) Seattle Professional Photographer’s  meeting I entered and won two more awards. Both red ribbons. One in the ‘portrait’ category and one in the ‘open’ category. The portrait category is the woman on the chair and the open category is the ballerina.

Both images started as typical photographs and I added my ‘Artist Series’ flair to them. It’s fun to transform images into art pieces!

Blue Ribbon Winner – Baby Girl June 4, 2008

This is such a precious time for new parents! They are only this small ONCE. This image was captured at the end of the photo session. A quiet, sleeping baby.

At last night’s Seattle Professional Photographers Association (SPPA) meeting I entered and won first place in the portrait category.
