Realtor “Headshot”, or as I like to call them, Professional Portraits July 1, 2013

Professional Corporate Portrait Headshot Seattle, WA

A cute, and “funny” story of how I know Gerry.  Gerry and I are both very active in the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce.  We have gotten to know each other over the 5+ years of being in the chamber and attending their events.  One time I brought my mother to a chamber event and Gerry recognized my mom.  They reminisced about how they knew each other and it turns out we used to ride horses together….way back in the day. (I’ve been riding horses since I was 5 years old).   So with that, it’s brought our connection even closer.

As you can see, at Acclaimed Photography we give you a wide variety of image choices with your professional portrait photography session. I suggest that you bring at least two, if not three or four, tops for your portrait.  I always like to have more choices to photograph and then select the images you like the best.

Commercial Photography for your Website February 5, 2012

I don’t usually post to much of my ‘commercial’ work, but this project was so fun I have to share! Pastor Mike of Everett Family Church approached me with an interesting photo shoot for their new website.  His idea for the front page of the website was to have it interactive….and each item you hover over gets you to a specific area of the website. He, and members of the church, collected items that were pertinent and have meaning to them.  It’s great when you can take the time to design your website the way you want it and how it will work best for your organization.

Check out the new website and the cool the interactive aspect of it. I would love to hear your comments!

A true leader in Seattle! Shandel Slaten February 13, 2011

Filed under: Corporate Work,Photographer's Favorite Photos — Kerri Kirshner @ 11:42 am

Last year I attended Shandel Slatens Women’s Leadership Summit in Seattle, WA. The day was filled with great speakers, food, activities (we all took the ‘DISC’ test which I am an “S”), and networking.  This year Acclaimed Photography is a sponsor of the 2011Women’s Leadership Summit (www.SeattleWomensLeadershipSummit.com).

A few days ago, on an overcast Seattle day, I had the pleasure to create some new professional portraits of Shandel. Her beauty and energy just radiates from within and I believe these images portray that.

Divorce for Grownups . . . . a new look February 4, 2011

Earlier this week I had the pleasure to photograph attorney Karin Quirk in Kirkland, WA.  One of her specialties is divorce law and her tag line is ‘“Empowering couples to dissolve their marriage in a respectful cooperative way”‘, and she always adds in ‘Divorce for Grownups’.  She’s truly a compassionate woman, very approachable and professional. You can find out more information on her website at http://karinquirk.com.

Surprisingly it was a beautiful February day in Kirkland so we went outdoors for her portrait session.  Within minutes of walking outside I found a location with great lighting and something  for her to lean on. Since Karin and I have known each other for a little while, through a networking group, she was already comfortable with me and I think her portrait reflects that.

Here is the professional portrait she chose to represent herself and her business.

The SPPA Holiday Party…. some interesting peeps! December 9, 2010

As a member of the SPPA (Seattle Professional Photographer’s Association) I was a participant at this year’s holiday party. It was a particularly extraordinary event, primarily based on the venue and models.  A photographer’s ‘shoot-out’ dream come true.

We rented out one of the coolest places in Seattle, Urban Light Studios, in Wallingford. Along with a team of @ 8 models, from Lumina Models in Everett….lots of photographers with their cameras…. made for an amazing night of creativity and fun!

Here are a few shots from the evening. They have not been Photo-shopped at all. . . .  Just meant to show how much fun we had.  Enjoy!
